FAQs

E1 BT automatically connects to the receiver in your room that receives the strongest signal. If there are too many other BT devices (Smartphone, PC, etc) around it may result in connection problems. In that case please turn off all other BT devices that may affect the connection. If there are some devices which you can't turn off (e.g. your neighbours Smartphone) position the receiver as close to E1 BT as possible.

Possible causes for stuttering music are: other conflicting BT devices or WiFi, which sends on the same frequency as BT (2.4GHz). Other possible causes are: the distance between sender and receiver is too big, or both devices are in no direct line (furniture or walls blocking direct sight).

The E1 BT functions exclusively as a Bluetooth audio transmitter (A2DP source) in accordance with the standardized A2DP profile (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). In this architecture, the roles are clearly defined: • The transmitter transmits only the encoded audio stream. • The receiver (e.g., Bluetooth speaker or receiver) is responsible for decoding, amplification, and volume control. The A2DP specification states that the receiver amplifies the audio signal according to its own volume setting. The associated control function AVRCP (Absolute Volume) also stipulates that the actual volume is managed by the receiver device. Therefore: • The E1 BT has no access to the internal volume of the Bluetooth receiver. • The volume after reconnecting is determined exclusively by the receiver device’s firmware (e.g., last saved value or default value). If a receiver uses an unexpectedly high volume after reconnecting, this is usually due to the firmware implementation of the respective Bluetooth receiver, not the E1 BT.
