Phono Box USB V is an ideal phono preamplifier for both your hifi system and vinyl or line-level recording to PC or Mac. MM and MC cartridges will be welcome. Input volume can be set to avoid override. The analogue output of Phono Box USB V can easily be connected to a line-input (AUX,…) of your hifi and digitally via USB to your computer. Both outputs can be used simultaneously. Any professional recording software will give best results on Windows and Mac computer systems.

The device is fully compatible with Windows 10. It may be necessary to reinstall latest drivers after updating from Windows 7/8/8.1 to Windows 10.

You do not need a driver for Windows-, Mac OSX or Linux-Systems. The driver is already integrated in the operating system.

Turn off your Computer and press at start alt+cmd+p+r until another starting sound appears. With this command the USB bus will be reset and the USB Box will be recognized new.

For playback while recording at the Apple computer, the additional tool "LineIn" is necessary since OS X 10. "LineIn" is for free download available here: <a href="" target="_blank"></a>

No. When using the Line input (3,5mm jack) on the Phono Box USB V we do not recommend using the analogue RCA output to listen to the source. The RCA output is only for use with a turntable source that has been connected to the RCA phono input. The Line input is only fully supported when transferring the audio signal over USB to a computer for recording.
